The ULM Warhawks are ready to tip off the 2025–26 campaign with hopes of improving from last season’s last place finish. First year head coach Phil Cunningham has put together an intriguing roster, and a tough schedule that will challenge the Warhawks from the jump.

Non-Conference
ULM opens its season on Nov. 3, traveling north to face Northern Illinois in the MAC–SBC Challenge. The Warhawks then stay on the road, heading to Oxford to take on Ole Miss (Nov. 7), the first of several power conference opponents.
Three days later, ULM will make its home debut against Rust College (Nov. 10). before returning to the road on Nov. 13 to take on Houston Christian. The Warhawks return to Monroe just four days later for a home game against Lamar.
The team then travels to Johnson City, Tennessee, for the ETSU MTE, where they’ll face Morehead State and East Tennessee State on Nov. 22–23.
After Thanksgiving break, the Warhawks will host Mississippi Valley State on Dec. 3, before going to Stephen F. Austin two days later. The Warhawks will be back in Monroe on Dec. 9 for a matchup against Arkansas Baptist, before making a trip to Miami (Dec. 13) to face the Hurricanes.
ULM closes out the calendar year with a tough road test against Kansas State (Dec. 28). The Warhawks will also host a MAC opponent in early February for the second leg of the MAC–SBC Challenge.
Conference
Conference play begins at home for ULM, as they host South Alabama (Dec. 17) and in-state rival Louisiana (Dec. 20). The Warhawks will then remain in Monroe to open the new year, hosting Southern Miss on New Year’s Day and Texas State two days later.
The first road trip of conference play takes the Warhawks to Lafayette to face the Ragin’ Cajuns (Jan. 8) and then to Hattiesburg to meet Southern Miss (Jan. 10) for the return games. After that, ULM will be back home to host Georgia State on Jan. 17.
That next road swing includes visits to Marshall (Jan. 22) and App State (Jan. 24), two of the tougher home environments in the conference. They end January at home, hosting Georgia Southern and Coastal Carolina in the last week.
ULM’s February begins with a road trip to Old Dominion (Feb. 4), followed by their home matchup in the MAC–SBC Challenge. From there, the Warhawks will travel to Arkansas State (Feb. 10) and Texas State (Feb. 14). They will then return home the following week for their last two home games, hosting Troy and Arkansas State.
The Warhawks close out the regular season on the road, visiting South Alabama and Troy in the last week of February.
After being in the bottom half of the conference standings over the last several seasons. ULM aims to move up the standings and avoid playing on the first day of the Sun Belt Tournament (Mar. 3–9).
