Defensively the Eagles have started to play better the last couple games after giving up over 100 points the first two games of the season. Georgia Southern will have to continue to get the defensive present established before Sun Belt conference play starts next weekend for the Eagles. JC French IV has also continued his improvements over the season with his skill position players the Eagles should be able to continue to put points as they have the past two games.
Georgia Southern will be back in action next weekend at 1:30 ET against James Madison from Harrisonburg on ESPN+.
