Non-Conference
Georgia State opens its season on the road, traveling to take on Eastern Michigan on Nov. 3 as part of the MAC-SBC Challenge. Just a few days later, the Panthers stay on the road with a matchup against Cincinnati on Nov. 7.
The Panthers will return to Atlanta for their home opener on Nov. 10, facing Presbyterian, followed by a quick turnaround game against Fort Valley State on Nov. 13.
On Nov. 17, the Panthers will take on Arizona State in Tempe, their second Power Five opponent of the season, before traveling to South Dakota State on Nov. 21. Thanksgiving week will send the Panthers south to Mexico for the Cancun Challenge, where they’ll face Samford and New Mexico State on Nov. 25–26.
December starts with a pair of in-state road games, as Georgia State travels to Mercer and Kennesaw State. The final non-conference home game before conference play comes on Dec. 13, when Jacksonville State visits Atlanta. Later in the month, the Panthers host Columbia College on Dec. 28
The second leg of the MAC-SBC Challenge will take place in early February, with the opponent yet to be announced.
Conference
Sun Belt play begins in mid-December, and the Panthers will be on the road early. Georgia State starts conference play against in-state rival Georgia Southern on Dec. 18, followed by a trip to Boone to face App State on Dec. 20.
The road stretch continues into the new year, as the Panthers visit Marshall on New Year’s Eve and then travel to Conway to take on Coastal Carolina on Jan. 3. They will then host App State and Marshall the following week.in back-to-back home games. A one-game road trip to ULM on Jan. 17 breaks up a home stretch, before the team returns to Atlanta to face Southern Miss and Arkansas State the following week.
The end of January sees another road stretch, as Georgia State travels to Louisiana on Jan. 29 and South Alabama on Jan. 31. The Panthers return home in early February to take on Troy before their second MAC-SBC Challenge matchup.
Once the non-conference break ends, Georgia State will hit the road again to face James Madison on Feb. 12 and Old Dominion on Feb. 14. To close the regular season, the Panthers will enjoy a long home stretch, where they welcome Georgia Southern (Feb. 19), James Madison (Feb. 21), Coastal Carolina (Feb. 24), and Old Dominion (Feb. 27) to Atlanta.
The Sun Belt Tournament returns to Pensacola, Florida, from Mar. 3–9. Coach Jonas Hayes will look to finally get on track at Georgia State, and the Panthers will have many opportunities throughout the schedule to impress.
